La idea con esta actualizacion es insertar el PC dentro del mueble en un formato Jamma, de forma que se comporte exactamente igual que una placa de juegos, tenga su conector jamma y funcione como lo haria un juego original.

Otro de los objetivos era hacer el sistema completamente sin piezas mecanicas para evitar la acumulacion de polvo y fallos futuros. Para eso uso una fuente de alimentacion de 12v y una fuente picoitx de 120w. El disco duro es un SSD por este motivo.
Desgraciadamente el disipador pasivo subia demasiado la temperatura cuando la CPU estaba al 100% y tuve que dejarlo con un ventilador 8×8 a bajas revoluciones, unas 600.
El sistema instalado
Siendo una CPU de ultima generacion, este pentium 4 dual core puede hasta con el emulador de PS2 perfectamente.
Teniendo una placa del 5150 que acababa reparar, decido usarla de exposicion, pero no simplemente con la placa en si, si no con un equipo completo en funcionamiento. Para ello uso una fuente picoitx con un adaptador de alimentacion AT-ATX, un pequeño amplificador de audio para la tarjeta de sonido, y un pequeño monitor de 3,5”.
El equipo completo hace funcionar el reproductor de video de Trixter, que permite video hasta 30fps en todas las resoluciones CGA.
